Paul McCarthy
Director
With over 30 years of experience across both private and local government sectors, Paul brings extensive knowledge of building surveying and certification to his role.
He is highly regarded for his holistic approach to compliance and his ability to guide design teams through all stages of the approvals process, from concept to completion. Paul holds qualifications in building surveying, town planning, fire engineering, and access consulting, and is an accredited Building Surveyor in Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory.
His broad technical background enables him to provide practical, solutions-focused advice on complex regulatory matters.

Larnie Wood
Operations Manager
Larnie is our Operations Manager – bringing more than a decade of experience in organisational management and efficiency.
Prior to joining Certis, Larnie was General Manager for a large group of commercial real estate in Australia. She gained first-hand experience on the client-side of certification while working on the design of new company premises.
This experience also developed her interest in combining design and compliance – recognising how beauty, function and safety must intersect.
With great attention to detail and a calm demeanour, she focuses on managing the day-to-day operations at Certis. Larnie heads up a wide range of essential sectors; from the staff and client experience to strategic planning, process improvement and more.
