By adopting the PBSA model, the design prioritizes the longevity of the base building, influencing choices in both design and materials. This approach not only supports the long-term vitality of the communal and retail spaces but also enhances the overall appeal and market competitiveness of the facility.
Great Southern Hotel - Brisbane
The Great Southern Hotel in Brisbane is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment and extension. The new extension proposed an additional 77 hotel rooms, rooftop restaurant and rooftop solar distributer, new café, along with the five-storey atrium compromising mature plants and green walls. This refurbishment also includes an urban art installation to feature on the rear and side boundary walls.
The W Hotel
The 34-storey 5 star luxury hotel compromises seven basement carpark levels, a four level retail podium and over 305 hotel suites, complemented by luxury amenities and guest facilities. Also featuring a master ballroom, conference facilities, retail stores, indoor heated swimming pool and pool bar, a 24 hour business centre and a rooftop park land on level four.
Adina Hotel, 171 George Street, Brisbane
The refurbishment of the Adina Hotel consisted of an additional five levels which houses 220 luxurious room and suites, all including their own kitchen, laundry and living room. The hotel lobby is now complete with a new restaurant and bar, which was once the former banking hall and bank vaults.
